Building Stuff supplies and installs a range of tactile indicators to meet all budgets and architectural requirements.

Our tactile ground surface indicators are available in a range of colours, styles and materials to suit everyone.

All tactile indicators are designed to satisfy Australian standards (AS/NZS: 1428) & Building Codes of Australia and should be used to warn of threatening hazards for the vision impaired under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

Common areas that tactile indicators are required are:

·     External public access areas - bus stops, railways and ferry platforms

· Steps, landings, escalators & ramps

Tactile Indicators are available in a range of materials and colours to ensure that your project complies with Australian Standards but also looks attractive.

Our beautiful stainless steel tactiles look great in areas that require the very best appearance. They are very popular for hotel and shopping centre entries, stairs and escalators.

In many external areas our plastic tactiles are quite popular due to their lower cost.

As you will see in the pictures above one product that is finding favour in both indoor and outdoor applications is our 'Guardian' tactile pads. They are an attractive polyurethane tile in 300 x 300 size making for a simple modular installation.

They are simple to install due to their peel and stick backing which proves popular with self install applications.
